On Wednesday, September 20, the Law Academy hosted its first "mixer" or community gathering. Sixty-six students met in the Common Area in King Hall and got to know one another.
Next, as they ate fruits and snacks, they listened to upperclassmen speak on the following topics:
a. The Law Academy
b. Mock Trial
c. Student Life at DMHS
d. Being a Freshman
Mr. Vincetty, the Program Manager, discussed other events and activities like:
1. Law Academy Speakers Series - Mayor Michael Wildes at DMHS on Oct. 26, 2023.
2. Trip and Tour of Englewood City Hall with Mayor Wildes, on Oct. 27, 2023.
3. Law Academy T-shirts and merchandise ideas.
4. Announced Law Academy ambassadors to serve at our Open Houses in October.
